Phill reviewed this product on 09/10/16 Recently purchased this putter direct from pinewood meadow. I had the opportunity to try it at dunhams off the rack ,there models were used and in generally banged up shape. I however loved the weight and the balance of this putter so I decided to buy new from pinewood. I will say this everything I loved at the store I still love today, however the sound this putter makes when it strikes the ball is annoying as hell. It makes this off key ping that just makes this club sound cheap. This is not a cheaply built putter it's well constructed. I will continue to use since there are so many things I like about it and hopefully I can get over that annoying sound.
Doug Beckstrom reviewed this product on 08/31/16 I received my putter last week and have played 2 rounds with this putter. This putter has very good feel and looked great when I got it but right away I could tell that this was not going to last. I am a great fan of this putter style because I had the original Fantom a few years ago and loved the putter but ended up selling it to a friend because I thought there was something better out there. The original had a much better paint finish on it compared to the finish on the PGX. On the first day of receiving my new PGX I went to the putting green and tested it out loved the feel and looks but right away I noticed that the bottom of the club was getting green stains from the grass and I thought OK I've had other white clubs that this happen to so I will just do what I have done in the past wash it to get the stains off. Well that worked somewhat but because of the washing the sharp edges of the putter top and bottom started to show some paint loss on the edges and now the putter looks old and beat up. I know whats the big deal right, well the paint should not be that bad when just cleaning the club you can affect the appearance. But you get what you pay for I guess. I will continue to use this putter because it is a very good putter the paint job is just terrible.
G Rahemba reviewed this product on 07/30/16 Love the look when aligning the club to the ball! Practice swings are so smooth as well as the actual hitting of the ball. 3 to 5 footers are much easier to make now. 10 to 20 foot putts with the PGX result in more easy tap ins or gimmies! My old putter was a Carbite blade style putter. I am generally not a very good putter but this PGX by Pinemeadow has helped me with actual improvement and is building my confidence. To think this putter cost me only $58 (because I upgraded to a med. sized grip) is a actual 'steal'. I would definetely recomend this club to anyone. BTW it's pretty cool to be able to pick up the ball with the bottom of the club. White head cover is nice fit and easy to use velcro. Thank you Pinemeadow. . . so glad I found you!
