Wally reviewed this product on 08/19/16 So I have played a couple of times with my irons and they are really great. I get a nice sound at impact and even off center hits fly a good distance. But when I hit them perfectly the ball goes further than my Cobra Irons. These are really accurate and forgiving. Great job on them.
Mark Tucker reviewed this product on 08/04/16 I purchased a set of ZR 3.0 irons, left handed, regular flex, 4-SW with graphite shafts, at the beginning of July due to an older set of Pinemeadow irons I bought in 2003 similar to Ping i3 plus irons that were stolen. Anyway Arron , customer rep, helped with me with the order and fitting. They were delivered to me in about a week. When I first got them out of the box the irons looked nice but the medallion looked different than what I use too. I selected the 6 iron first to try a few swings and the club had a good balanced feel. The next day I took the clubs to the driving range to give them the real test. During that first basket I started having doubts about these irons because I couldn't any feedback off the club head. As time past during the month I still could not get a good feel for the clubs but I was hitting ball straighter more often, my strokes were reducing, my score was more consistent. I went from the mid 90's to mid to high 80's and it felt good. I finally figured out that the club had a damper built into the sole. This damper helps to reduce vibration to your joints in case you chunk your swing wrong. The stock graphite shafts are excellent. They give enough weight to the club to keep them from not feeling too light. The clubs were producing a mid-high loft and soft landing there by giving very little roll. The grooves are more shallow than my Ping i5's but they can definitely can scuff the ball surface. After six rounds of golf, three times at the driving range, plus two of my friends trying these clubs on the course as well, this convinced me these irons were a keeper. I will be recommending these to everybody.
Chris J Christopher reviewed this product on 07/25/16 I purchased the ZR line of Irons and Woods recently and I have to say that these clubs are by far the best clubs I have ever had in my hand - the Driver is the best I have ever used and the irons allowed me to up my game and performance.....I recommend this set to anyone who is looking for a great set of clubs and wants to up their game
TommyB reviewed this product on 06/19/16 I'm a 68 year old golfer and have played the game for 55 years. Over that time my handicap has varied from as low as 8 to 16. I'm quite fussy about the equipment I use. As a senior golfer on a fixed income I also need to be aware of price so I try to get the best equipment possible at reasonable price. I bought the ZR3.0 irons about 2 months ago and have about 10-15 rounds played with them. I like these irons very much. They don't have all the bulk of many clubs and are sleek and comfortable. I appreciate the somewhat thinner top line as I address the ball. These are my first graphite irons and I find the club response to be softer yes, but there is adequate feedback as well-something that surprised me. I would say these irons seem to be longer by about 10 yards. These are excellent clubs-especially for golfers with mid-range skills like myself. Highly recommended.
Denny reviewed this product on 06/04/16 I ordered these irons over the winter and have finally had a chance to play them enough to give them a solid review. I use to play the mark 2 irons and loved them. I made the change hoping to find something with similar forgiveness and less bulky with a bit more playability. Two thumbs up here. Beautiful ball flight and maybe 5-10 yards longer. Only complaint I have is the stickers on the shaft where some what slopily put on and are peeling off and a few of the grips seemed to have been put on in a hurry cause the golf pride logo is completely off center on a few of the clubs. Minor issues but the clubs are great and would highly recommened
