Description
The club head is made in a similar fashion to metal woods in order to achieve a larger head size normally seen only in all-titanium irons. In addition, cavity-back design maximizes perimeter balance for exceptional accuracy and forgiveness on off-center shots. The oversize iron head makes a large striking surface of the face makes for a solid power and control.

So, what is the logic of our advice? Well, graphite shafts reduce the weight of your club (it is actually quite remarkable to feel the weight difference in an entire set of clubs made with steel versus graphite shafts) — this is good for all players, but especially women and seniors.
Graphite shafts are lighter then steel. They also, reduce the shock at impact — this is good for women, seniors, aging baby boomers and those of us with joint problems. A graphite shaft allows for longer clubs — this is good for distance (but maybe not quite so good for control). Graphite shafts have greater construction alternatives so that they can be designed to affect the flight of the ball to a greater degree than steel shaft.

Gary S. rated this product on 01/09/13 I purchased a set of the ZR1 Mark II Irons with graphite shafts in July of last year. Due to surgery, I wasn't able to play golf until September. I've now used them for about 12 rounds and must say I'm very disappointed. The finish shows considerable chipping and the overall quality of the irons is lower then a previous set I bought from Pinemeadow previously. I'm not sure if the ZR1 Mark II is representative of other Pinemeadow sets, but they were the irons recommended to me by Aaron when I contacted Pinemeadow. Based on this purchase I don't think I would buy from Pinemeadow again or recommend them to my friends. Sorry for the poor rating, but I'm just providing honest feedback.

THAT SAID, I REALLY, REALLY LIKE THESE CLUBS AND THE GUY WHO HELPED ME BUY THEM (AARON) THE CLUBS ARE WELL MADE, FEEL RIGHT IN MY HANDS AND HAVE INCREASED MY DISTANCE AND ACCURACY TREMENDOUSLY. chuck rated this product on 11/16/12 I have had several types of irons playing golf. I had a off brand of pings, maxfiles, macgrgor and a set from pinemeadow also. I must say that these oversize irons are fantastic. This is my second round of golf using the pinemeadow irons. I can't wait till spring time to see how they perform. I would actually tell my friends and even my brother how well these irons perform.
Josh rated this product on 10/29/12 I usually hit about 15% GIR the first time I used these I hit 5/9 GIR. I was amazed at the difference. These irons easily added 20 yards to my 3-6 and about 10 to my 7-PW. Great backspin and great distance.
