Jarell Bozarth rated this product on 10/05/07 I'm just starting to get into golf after playing around with it in my teens. Graduating from college and going into business is a pretty good reason to back into the swing of things but I don't have 1-2k to drop on clubs. I took advantage of the sale on these clubs, and I cannot imagine a better value for money anywhere else. They came packaged well and looked amazing, very nice chrome finish. It was a bit of a pain taking off the plastic film covering the logo though. Took these to the range and everything was great. Hit the balls straight and far. Excellent controllability and distance. I'm extremely glad I went with PMG instead of paying out the nose for brand named clubs. I've had nothing but great experiences here and look forward to recommending my friends and family to your great company!
Glenn Bowers reviewed this product on 09/19/07 I purchased these to help me improve my accuracy into the green. I was an 18 handicap. I have since shot my lowest ever a 77, and am averaging 82 over the last 16 rounds! The fit and feel is excellent. I went with the Lamkin Crossline grips and the standard Pinemeadow steel shafts. I did lose about 5 yard of distance from my old graphite shafted irons, but the amazing gains in accuracy have more than made up for that. I will not ever be purchasing the big brand name irons again! Your quality and workmanship are top notch. I will be buying your new Bloc fairway woods next!
Jack Lovell reviewed this product on 09/16/07 These clubs have definitely helped me keep my shots on line. I went from an old set of graphite cavity back irons to the Excel mid-launch plus irons and noticed an immediate difference. I'm a 15 handicap and shot an 80 the first time out with these clubs. I highly recommend them (and what a great bargain).
Casey Nakayama rated this product on 08/16/07 I'd first like to thank PMG for their great work on this club set. I use to play with an old set of Callaway's back in college. So going to Pinemeadow's Excel Mid Launch, is like going from a VW rabbit to a BMW M3. These are one of the most forgiving set of clubs. I ordered the clubs with the Aldila Graphite Reg, this helps with the vibration I really want to try it with the TT Blk gold Shafts but I wasnt sure that I my elbows could take the vibration. The std grips are nice and grippy, but If were to buy another set. I would upgrade to Lamkin Crossline. I have their grips on my Hybrids and are very comfortable. I was one of those people that though, I couldn't hit a 3 iron, but with a little practice ( meaning @ 400 balls ) The 3 iron is now one of my primary clubs right next to my 5 iron. The rest of the club set were soo very easy to hit with. I almost thought wow I'm I good.. LOL, but I really do love these clubs. I wasn't about to spend another 1k on a set of Callaway's considering that Callaway's are made of the same material & pretty much the same design. That was a no brainier, if your a " Brand Snob " get over it.These clubs are fantastic. 20 bucks says that if you take all the name branding off of both sets of clubs and hit with them, you will not be able to tell the difference. I'm going to start my nephew playing in a couple of weeks and if he likes playing I'll get him a set of HIgh Launch. Thanks again PMG.
Mitch rated this product on 07/21/07 These clubs are incredible! they first off, look great and they hit even better, even miss hits dont hurt my hands. I still hasnt gotten sue to the distance, ive found that i hit everhting a club shorter, but its not a big deal. im 16 and a 6 handicap and i will never go brand name!
