Travis Jardine reviewed this product on 01/27/06 Recently purchased complete set of System Q irons w/SW, Command 3I Hybrid,Command Q4 Driver, Q4 3Wood,and P727 putter. Initially was a little concerned about the low profile of the irons, however, I was very pleased with how they felt. They hit approx. 10-15 yards further and have very good trajectory for approach shots (nice and high). Spin is limited but I'm a 10 handicap so having high trajectory makes up for it. Still getting use to the longer irons but the hybrid more than makes up for them. The Q4 driver and 3 wood are very good as well. Not so sure the weights make a difference but the distance and accuracy are very good. Overall, very pleased with all my new clubs. Up untill now I've only been able to hit from mats at the range. Once I've played a round I send another review.

dana pritchett reviewed this product on 11/06/05 These are quality irons. They are VERY long and straight. Im hitting the 8 iron around 160 and the 4 iron 200. The short irons (mainly 9 and pw) do provide me with plenty of back spin. I just have to figure them out on short par 3's. If you have been curious about these, dont worry....they are great. A buddy of mine who is a scratch golfer grabbed my 5 iron today, I just hit the 7 iron from about 170, he grabs my 5 iron and was going to hit the same shot, he hit it straight as an arrow with a light swing and shot it way over the green. They do make a cool sound as well. They sound like a hybrid rescue wood when you hit them. Great product. Thanks Pinemeadow!!

I have grown accustomed to my system Q irons now and they really feel like butter, the sound you get when you really "hit" it sounds almost like one of those expensive driving irons made of titanium. I was reading the reviews and found one where it said that backspin is not their strongest suit, well, no offense, but I do get lots of backspin with these irons thank you. I alternate my system Q's with my Cleveland TA4's which is my main set but lately, the Q's have been sequestered by my son...oh well...oh by the way, I also just bought a pre-owned system Q driver and a 3-wood and man, together with the Q irons, they're deadly!

Mark reviewed this product on 10/05/05 6th month followup to my May 31 review .... after 6 months with the System Q irons, and comparing them with some more conventional quality sets, I am still in love with them. The consistency I get with the 5-8 mid-irons alone is worth the money--dead on straight, very few mishits, nice trajectory, and longer than average. Someone else noted that when you hit them well (usually) the ball flies off the face almost effortlessly. They also inspire confidence at address. Backspin is not their strongpoint, but for a high or mid-handicapper, this is NOT the biggest worry ... and you can always plug in some different wedges for approach shots if you need more stopping power. I began playing 4 years ago shooting around 120. Before the Q's I was in the mid-90's, and since getting them I am pushing breaking 80. When you also think about the customization options, guarantee, and bargain cost, you can't go wrong. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Kevin reviewed this product on 07/27/05 First I’d like to praise Pinemeadow Golf for its great service. I first bought a set of Power Play Select 5000 hybrid irons last summer. I played with them for several months but just didn’t like them, so this spring, some seven months after the purchase, I called Pinemeadow to see if I could still return them. To be honest, I wasn’t having high hope, but Scott told me I could still return them for store credit. So I returned them, later on used the fund to buy a set of this Power Play System Q irons and a hybrid 2 iron. I have to say this System Q is great; they get the ball up in the air a lot easier, and longer. My iron shots are 10 to 20 yards longer compared with my old irons. I have almost no fat shots or groundouts any more. Combined with the great distance and accuracy from the Pinemeadow Excel Hybrid 2 iron, I finished a round below 90 for the first time last week.
