Marc reviewed this product on 01/09/06 Played 'em for the first time yesterday. With absolutely no warming up, I set out for a round of golf at Gordon Lakes (Island Veiw). First swing with the irons, was an 8 iron 155 yards to center of green. As soon as I made contact the ball took off straight. Next was a 4 iron shot 180, too easy the shot took off straight. Needless to say I shot a very good round 76/72. Thank you again Pinemeadow. This is why I buy all my clubs from you guys.

David Rolfe reviewed this product on 11/06/05 I bought these as an experiment really. I'd always played with graphite shafted clubs before. I was surprised to find that although these clubs with the Apollo Lite steel were significantly heavier than my other set, (Synchron Medics with graphite shafts), they were very well balanced, and hit a LOT further. First hit at the range with the 9 iron went out about 160 yards. My playing partners face was worth the price of the clubs! Momentum's a wonderful thing. My first round with them was a disaster though, I hadn't really got used to the different distance these clubs hit comapred to the Medics. No doubt I will improve my consistency with these clubs with a bit more practice. Ordered on Monday - delivered on Thursday, and they look fabulous.

Having only used cheap starter clubs before, I noticed the immediate difference. I am consistently hitting my 8 iron 150 yards and straight. Still trying to master low irons. Friends of mine who play regularly were very impressed with the quality of the clubs and were amazed by the price. Can't say enough about Pinemeadow. Excellent product, fantastic service. Thank you. Jason reviewed this product on 08/02/05 I've only started playing golf regularly in the last 3 months or so. For some reason, the game didn't work it's magic on me until later in life (I'm 27). When I realized that this was a sport I could play every week, I decided to upgrade the 20 year old clubs my dad had given me, but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg since I'm a hacker and still learning. I found the Pine Meadow website, did some research, and settled on these clubs. As soon as I got the clubs, I took them to the range and smacked a 5 iron over 200 yards. I was lucky to hit 150 before. Granted that isn't the norm, but the improvement has been tremendous. The irons are so easy to hit that I actually prefer a 3 iron to a driver in a lot of situations because its so easy to hit and you have a lot more control, even if you do sacrifice some distance. Thanks again...I couldn't be more pleased with my purchase.
