L. Light reviewed this product on 06/01/06 QUESTION: I am wondering if the high launch clubs, with the wider base, will look to other golfers as a strictly beginners club. I play with some guys who play par - will I be the outcast with the "kids clubs" on this one? Secondly, as I get better in my game, will these clubs continue to work for me?? Thank you - to those who have the clubs, feel free to offer your suggestions.
Preston Hale responds with Good question. I don't think you need to worry at all about having the "kids clubs". Players of all skill level are play wider soles because they go with what basically works for them. Unless you are playing a pro style model the industry standard to build a forgiving club with characteristics such as a wider sole. Hopefully some customers will give you some good feedback too.
Milford Yount reviewed this product on 06/01/06 Ordered the Excel High Launch clubs. Excellent communications by e-mail confirming my order and date to be shipped along with a link to track the shipment. Clubs came on the date they said, packaged great. Had a lesson the other day and the pro tried my clubs and said he thought they were every bit as good as the Big Berthas. They look beautiful and perform great. Great company. I plan to do business again with Pinemeadow. Thanks, Pinemeadow M. Yount
Steve Z reviewed this product on 05/30/06 I've been using a set of Spalding Executive's for years. I finally made a decision to upgrade to the new technology of todays irons. After researching the market I decided to buy the Excel High Launch irons. Pinemeadow's game improvement irons work really great. The wider sole makes a big difference and I love the graphite shafts. My shots now travel higher and longer. I am now playing just as well as some of my friends who have Callaway clubs. In addition, I have droped 10 stokes of my game! These are great clubs.
Dave L reviewed this product on 05/23/06 I ordered the clubs on Sunday and received them Wednesday. I finally hit them on Monday and WOW! They felt great. I lolve them. Now I just need to get used to my improved distance and accuracy. Thanks Pinemeadow. I will be telling all my buddies about not just your great clubs but your great service as well.
Sean reviewed this product on 05/09/06 I recently purchased the Pinemeadow Excel High Launch Irons. I took em to the driving range yesterday and today to strighten out my swing and they are a drematic improvement over my old set of Knight Stratos. They don't feel cheap and unbalanced like my Knight set did. After about 20 balls or so I was hitting about 30 yards more per club over my old set. I highly recommend. The increased loft on the lower clubs helps too. i used to never be able to hit my 3 or 4 irons. Now I'm hitting my 4 around 200 yards and still working on my 3. Great Product, plan on buying Q4 driver and Excel fairway woods upon next paycheck. =D
