Chris reviewed this product on 10/10/06 Great irons! As a LH player I bought these a few months ago instead of the Excel High Launch irons, which only has RH clubs. I've been very impressed with them ever since. I am at the driving range at least 3 times a week and play once or twice a week. These clubs don't correct poor swing mechanics nor do they compensate for a bad grip, alignment, or posture, but if you hit them correctly you will not be disappointed! With them I am not intimidated by the Calloways or other big-brand names I play against. Only problem is Pinemeadow doesn't make an approach (gap) wedge (around 50 to 52 degree) for lefties. I use my gap wedge quite a bit on the course that I had to buy from a Pinemeadow competitor instead.

Tom reviewed this product on 09/07/06 I purchased these clubs last week for my son's 14th birthday. I bought these clubs with the regular flex and standard grips that are offered. I figure for $149.00 plus shipping these irons are at least as good as what I can get at the local sporting goods chain store. I took them out for a trial run today, and I am quite pleased with how they hit. I had to adjust my swing some to compensate for the regular flex shafts as I hit a stiff flex and the heads are larger than the one I am accustomed to using. I had trouble early with the pitching wedge but worked the kinks out after a few times around the green. I should have gone to the range first, but I chose to play instead. These irons look great, hit solid and I would recommend these to anyone that wants a set of performance enhancing clubs. I have a 16 yr. old than needs a set of irons and I will order these very soon only he hits "lefty".

Chris reviewed this product on 08/27/06 I consider it a privilege to be the first to post a review of these outstanding irons. I was originally drawn to the Excel High Launch Irons, as well as intrigued by the testimonials I read regarding them. However, being left-handed, I had to order the Excel High Launch PLUS irons instead. No matter, when they arrived last Thursday(exactly on time), I tried them at the range the very next day. Very impressive!! Slick look and easy to hit with. I went with the Regular flex, added 1/2 inch to the standard length, chose the the standard grip, and went with the Apollo Lite shaft -- nothing special, but....WOW!! After that one trip to the range I took them for a round of golf just yesterday. They, along with my Command Q4 driver, helped me shave about 10 strokes. I'm continually impressed with Pinemeadow and am quickly becoming one of their "unofficial" spokespeople. A truly great product at a great price!

Tim reviewed this product on 07/21/06 I ordered the clubs on a Wednesday and recieved them on the following Tuesday, just as promised. Upon opening the package, I was really impressed with how they look. They look like high dollar clubs. After hitting them for the first time today, I am even more impressed with how they feel. They feel every bit as good as the Calloway Big Bertha irons. I was initially worried that the high launch would take away yards off of my shots, but, after using them, I found that I am every bit as long and much more acurate. I was even able to hit my 3 iron, which is something I've never been able to do with any consistency. I would recommend these clubs to anyone looking to improve their game.
