Garret M rated this product on 05/25/10 Before ordering these irons I had a cheap starter set with graphite shafts. My average round was in the 120's and I had probably played a few rounds in the 115 - 117 range. I was so bad I really did not even keep score that closely. I ordered these with steel shafts. My first round with these clubs was about 120... but it was at Trump National in Palos Verdes and I overflew the first 3 greens due to unfamiliarity with the extra distance from these clubs. My next round was a 102, then a 104, then a 94! all at much easier courses. I can't attribute all ~20 strokes improvement to these irons, since I started playing a lot more around the same time, but I credit them with taking about 10 strokes off my game almost immediately. Highly recommended for beginner/novice golfers.
Chris M rated this product on 05/13/10 I have played with these irons for a year. They are very forgiving and rather long. I play with guys who complain about their clubs. I never do. These are high quality and very well made. At this price they are a great deal. I took lessons recently and my instructor even mentioned how good they were. Thanks.
Len rated this product on 05/10/10 I'm turning 55, and I've been playing just 2 and 1/2 years averaging 90 playing with second-hand Adams irons that I learned the game with. I bought the Command Q's this past winter and struggled with the 1/2 inch plus over standard length for awhile (a very nice feature - custom made irons) but now I see some improvement with my game and my scores. I don't know for sure, but I have a feeling you can spend two or three times as much for similar iron sets and not get better clubs. I'm very happy with the quality.
Mike H. rated this product on 04/06/10 I bought the Command Q iron set last year and played a whole season with them. I have been very pleased with them and found them to be very forgiving as advertised. I play twice a week and they really held up to my hacking.
JOHN L. rated this product on 03/19/10 I just bought the Command Q iron set, tried them today & they are fine clubs--as I knew they would be. This is my 3rd set from Pine Meadow. BUT: I must make one somewhat humorous observation. Before I bought the Command clubs I reviewed all the postings of the recent buyers. I got a laugh from the common theme: "wow, I hit these clubs farther, yada, yada yada". I checked the LOFT on the COMMAND Q!'s versus the set of EXCEl's I bought 5 years ago & against the set I bought 10 years ago. Do you guys realize that the COMMAND Q 7 iron has exactly the same loft as the 6 iron I bought from Pine Meadow 10 years ago!!!!! That is why you are hitting longer!!!--the marketers are continuously lowering the lofts so that you think the clubs are bazookas!! But they are not. Don't kid yourself--compare the lofts before you canonize these clubs & declare them to be "wow, longer".
