Brian Spradley rated this product on 05/15/11 Great looking clubs that feel great as well. Have been to the range once and have played one round. Had rained for 2 days in a row before playing so course was soaked so hit several shots a little "chubby" The shot that sticks out to me most from that day was a 5 iron I hit from 175-180 yards that I caught fat as it was in a very rain soaked part of the fairway. Made a good swing, just caught it heavy. I didn't bother to watch the shot to the end because I knew I would be short of the green and would be chipping for my next shot. I was amazed to find my ball had ended up 5 feet from the pin. Definitely going to have to get used to more yardage per club. That's a good problem to have and I can't wait to get back to the range and dial the bad boys in. I ordered the SW as well and even with that the total cost was less than $175.00 to the door. Great product and a great price and Tommy is great dude. Take my advice and get a set of these and use the savings for green fees! PS--my buddy spent $500 on his set of Taylor Made irons and he hit my irons farther both times he hit them that day. LOL

Marty H. rated this product on 05/13/11 I've had my Monterossa's for about a month now and have played 3 rounds with them. Having read all the reviews about them I had very high expectations of their quality, performance and style. Well, I'm here to tell you, these irons pass the test on every level! They have a really clean looking design and the white chrome finish is perfect. Nice, big sweet spot and straight as an arrow. Very soft feel and forgiving on miss-hits too. Pretty easy to work the ball in both directions and I've regained some distance over my old Titelist irons. This is my first experience ordering from Pinemeadow, but it will not be my last. They earn top marks for their products as well as their customer service! If you're looking for top quality golf clubs, and value is important to you, look no further! Unbeatable!!

Ron Phillips rated this product on 04/26/11 First and foremost let me commend Pimemeadow’s customer service. I had a couple glitches with my order and they were worked out quickly and seamlessly. I purchase a set of the Monterossa irons a couple weeks ago so I've had a number of chances to get out and play. I chose the Apollo Lite Steel shaft with senior flex. These clubs are nice and light so I'm able increase my swing speed. They get the ball into the air quickly. I also found I hit these clubs about 10 yards farther than my old clubs so I've had to readjust my distances. Great clubs at a great price.

Billy rated this product on 04/26/11 I finally got a chance to hit my new clubs. They are all I expected and more. I have to learn all over again and recalculate my distance. For a complement to you and your company: My friend who has the "Callaway Diablo" set could not believe these. He was shocked at that they had the same exact fell and look as his clubs.

Marlowe G. rated this product on 04/18/11 I finally got to the range today to hit My new Monterossa irons. I upgraded from teh Excel Strongs because I needed irons with mor workability. The narrower soles and thinner top lines on these irons look classic and clean. They also feel much lighter and not as clunky as the Ex Strongs. As far as performance goes, these clubs hit like a dream. The feel is excellent and the sound is a bit different from other irons I've hit. It's not a bad sound at all, but I had to get used to it. I was able to work the ball in both directions, and the ball comes off the face pretty hot when I hit it flush. The Montys are definitely longer than the Excels due to the decreased loft in each club, but they still get up quickly. To draw a comparison, I recently bought a 6 Taylormade Burner 6 iron a few weeks ago for about $20 on ebay...the same you'd fine in a demo bag at the local golf retailer. I hit both against each other, and the Monty was every bit as long and I hit it a bit straighter than the TM Burner, which is a beautiful and well-performing club no doubt, Simply pit the Montys exceded my expectations, even though I've had great experience with the Excels already. There's always a little doubt for avid golfers when buying clubs other than the big names, but I can honestly say that these irons are as good as anything I've hit. If they weren't I wouldn't have spent so much time on this review. I got the Golf Pride grips and paid $125 total for irons that perform like $699 sticks. Thanks Pinemeadow for making exceptional golf clubs at more than reasonable prices! And the Masters deal was amazing!!!
