Bob Pritchard rated this product on 08/27/09 These clubs are fantastic...I was looking to move my game to the next level, i.e. creating shots, having more feel to my game so I was looking to replace my workmanlike Adams, which are designed for high handicappers. Picking the ball off the fairway with the narrower base is now possible. I was actually looking at TM r7s, but like the previous review, I too did not want to pay full retail, thus my pleasure in finding the Command. One suggestion to, again the previous e-mail, take some of the money you've saved by purchasing the Command and get some lessons. Maybe then you can appreciate the value of the clubs in your hands.

Justin W rated this product on 08/17/09 I was previously using 10 year old Taylormade LCG Burner Shaft irons. These are not much of an improvement. I ordered the black BK command with apollo step-steel stiff shafts, and fell for the hype and great reviews on this website. Don't get me wrong, these irons are by no means terrible, but they are nothing compared to the real Taylormade R7 irons. My dad owns the real set (TM r7s) and I played with him this weekend. I've been playing the BK commands since April and am finally controlling them quite nicely. I gave one to my dad to use (he is a 7-8 handicapper, I'm a 20 or so) and he hit it and asked me how I could settle for an iron that felt so rough. He told me to grab one of his and swing it. Upon holding it, I could tell a major difference in the weighting. The weight felt well distributed. It felt right. Then I hit it, and contact was smooth as can be, the ball took off with a full trajectory, and carried over the green. I switched back and forth for the remaining 13 or 14 holes, and I can honestly say his are far superior. The real R7s hit a full club longer, and I never hit a "stinger", even when I caught one off the toe. To conclude my long review, the BKs are OK for the price, but they aren't very forgiving, and the iron head feels too heavy for the shaft. As of today, the BKs aren't much cheaper than what you can find a new set of R7s on ebay for. Go with the real thing, you won't be sorry. Finally, the customer service at pinemeadowgolf is exceptional. Orders are processed very quick and shipping is prompt as well. Great online retailer, and I would do business again if I was able to be sure that I was getting top-notch quality. I am giving a 2 star score for great customer service, but a club that does not live up to the club that it is modeled after.

Matt rated this product on 08/09/09 Excellent clubs!!! For a while I was afraid to replace a set of irons that got me 2 holes-in-one, but after playing these I'll never switch back. They are very accurate, easy to hit, and they added about 8 more yards to every shot. I will probably use this website as my primary place for golf shopping from now on.

Dave rated this product on 07/31/09 I'm here to give you my follow-up review! It's been a year since I've purchased my BK's. The clubs are holding up great after constant use! I play anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week and have put alot of hours on them at the range. The only problem I have had is the ferrules (the collar where the shaft meets the head) coming loose on three of the irons. All I had to do was purchase some epoxy at the golf store and secure them back on, other than that, no problems, even the decals have stayed on after mutiple washings! These clubs are very forgiving and have really helped my game. They have a nice, soft feel when you connect in the sweet spot and the trajectory is perfect for me (I puchased them with the Apollo steel shafts). I'm very pleased with the quality and performance of these clubs! Last year I was shooting 115-130, now I'm in the low 90's ( legitimately, I count all penalties)! Great job Pinemeadow!
