Description

ZR1 Hybrid Iron Set is unique compared to the other hybrid set options we offer. Set includes a 3 and 4 Hybrid Wood (option to add the five hybrid), 5 iron HT iron and 6-SW usual irons. Read more about each club will help your game.

3 and 4 Hybrid Woods (option to add five)

The purpose of a hybrid wood is to replace the hard to hit lower irons. The club (3, 4 and 5 hybrid) creates a higher and longer shot, as well as featuring a large and forgiving clubface. The weight is balanced throughout the club head with the focus towards the outer sole. The design is to increase moment-of-inertia (MOI) and resistance to a twisting effect at impact. The result of this design will generate straighter shots.

5 iron HT

The 5 iron is known as "high trajectory iron" (HT). Designed with a wide sole, deep dish cavity and elongated face. The lower center of gravity produces a higher launch angle, softer shot and more forgiving play. If you are tired of hitting difficult long irons, replace your irons with ZR1 set for an immediate difference. If you haven't played a lower iron with a wider sole you will be surprise how much easier they are to hit.

6-SW

The 6-SW features are very similar to the lower irons minus the wide sole. A deep cavity, low center of gravity and lower back weight, increase moment of inertia (MOI). A higher MOI reduces twisting of the face on miss hits resulting in a straighter shot. You will instantly notice better results in the accuracy of your iron play due to the fact that there is more room for error.

In order to provide the perfect custom fit for you, a half inch adjustment may be made on all length requests greater than an inch. We do this in order to match your requested flex, since flex in a hybrid shaft is the most important aspect. The end result is the perfect custom fit! Scott Miller rated this product * * * * * on 08/18/07 I can't hit my Ping Zing 3 or 4 iron at all-so decided to see what this hybrid fuss is all about. Just received my ZR1 3 and 4 hybrid yesterday. Clubs are gorgeous! Went to the driving range and hit the 4 hybrid straight and 200 yards with little effort. Very nice "Ping" sound when hit properly! Ready to start taking strokes off my game. Pinemeadow you have a new loyal fan. Now to get some clubs for my dad!

I've played these twice in the last week and what amazing difference in play. Not only am I hitting the ball farther, they have helped dramatically in my acuracy. I'm a 20+ handicap and have already dropped several stokes and can only imagine how many more I'll drop. Thank you for an amazing set of clubs.

I'm already familiar with hybrid clubs but the ZR1 hybrids are definetly better than ones I used in the past. I also really like the 3-PW, they took quick to get used to and now I'm ready to go use them on the course tomorrow.

Lawrence rated this product * * * * on 09/25/06 After 2 months with the ZR1 Hybrid set I have finally learned to control the 3 & 4 hybrids from everywhere except thick rough. I consciously swing easier and they go long and straight. An upgraded shaft would probably have been better but no matter. These hybrids provide a higher trajectory but since I can hit the 3 hybrid about as far as my 3 wood, I use it to land on the green with more accuracy. I still love all the irons from the 5HL to the PW.
