Carl Fowler rated this product on 04/01/23 The clubs are pretty nice. I changed the grips and hit the ball okay with them lot less yardage than with my taylormades. I've played with them now for a very long time and they're okay for the money.

David Harrity rated this product on 01/27/23 Really want to like these clubs as I have been looking at them for several years. Sold my Cobras and purchased these thinking hybrids better suit my game. These aren’t really hybrids though. For example my old Cobra 5 hybrid was a true hybrid and was easy to hit and went far. The pre-progressives are more of an iron and I’ve lost distance I couldn’t afford to lose. Also not seeing the better consistency on miss hits that others have claimed. I would say the clubs seem to be of high quality. I’ll continue to work with them and hopefully will be able to leave a better review in the future but for now I’m not thrilled with my purchase.

Edward rated this product on 12/30/22 I have received them and initially think they are great. I'm 64 and I've been struggling a bit more lately with my distance. These hybrid irons seem to help make up much of the distance I've lost over the years and seem more forgiving than my regular irons in the sense of being more forgiving and creating better missed shots. I shot 85 on a tough course (132 slope) where my previous scores ranged from 92 to 87... So, with these new clubs I had my best score ever on that course and it was less than ideal conditions low 40s in Maryland in December. I'm still getting used to them, for instance they feel heavier on the back swing to me than regular irons but I'm very encouraged.

Joe rated this product on 05/18/22 I am a senior as well as a novice golfer. I was using hand me down clubs from friends until I decided that I truly enjoyed the fun and challenge of playing golf. It is something I never really had time for while I was raising a family and working, but now that I am retired, I find it to be quite an enjoyable experience. When I decided that it was time to purchase new clubs, I did a ton of research. My research, because of my age and skill level, led me to clubs, particularly irons, that were “forgiving”. I initially had my mind set on purchasing a set of Cleveland Launcher XL Halo irons, but the cost seemed a bit high for a high handicapper like me. I had a conversation with a nephew, who is a good golfer, regarding my dilemma purchasing new clubs. He suggested I look at “clones”. I had no idea what a clone golf club was. He explained that I could get a set of clubs, especially a set of irons, that would be of similar engineering and quality for half the money. I took his advice and began my next level of research which ultimately led me to Pine Meadow. I decided to give you guys a try. I purchased irons, a sand wedge and a bag. I have had one session at the range as well as 9 holes on the course. I really like the weight, feel, and I am especially impressed with the workmanship of my new irons. I must say that I do need to adjust to the play/feel of the new irons, particularly the PW, but I will be working on that going forward. I had great results with the rest of the irons. My shots, for the most part, were lofted, straighter and had more distance than they had been with the old clubs. More time playing and practice on the range should increase my familiarity with the new clubs, and I am optimistic that it will result in improved shots. p.s. I love the new bag. Well made, plenty of storage and a price that couldn’t be beat for the quality.

Dennis Humphrey rated this product on 05/17/22 I've been playing golf for a long time. I 'm not a guy that likes to spend money on equipment, because I have always thought that equipment didn't matter, your skill set does. I couldn't be more wrong! In golf, equipment matters. I was a consistent 90 on my golf score and could not get my scores any lower though because I could NOT hit my irons and get my approach shot on or near the green. I have always struggled with my irons. I saw that if you have trouble with traditional irons, then you need to try some hybrids. So, after a saving up a little bit, I bought these PRE progressive hybrid iron set. I wanted to take them out and try them before my first round, but weather did let me, so I threw them in the bag and just assumed this was going to be a rough round with figuring out new clubs... and I was wrong!! First round out, no practice, my distances were the same as what they were with my regular irons. The big difference was that I was hitting them straight. No blading, no cutting, no slicing. I hit them straight and duffed very few. My first round was 85 in the morning and an 82 in the afternoon. I love the clubs! I love the way they feel when I set up and then hit. If you have problems with traditional irons, I would definitely consider trying a hybrid set. I am thrilled with my purchase. A buddy that is a scratch golfer hit the 5 iron to see how it felt and he was even amazed. And he plays with EXPENSIVE clubs. These clubs are awesome!
