Kevin rated this product on 07/12/08 I bought this set with a Lightening driver about a month ago. I have always struggle with irons, mostly with the 3 iron and any really high loft clubs. I still have not been able to hit the hybrids, but I'm pretty sure it is because I set up like I'm hitting woods and should set up like I'm hitting irons. I still rated this a 5 because Idon't need the 3 or 4 iron as much because these clubs added 25 yards of distance to every iron. And, somehow I even hit it straight. The worst round I have had since getting these clubs is 6 strokes better than before I bought my new set. I think the main difference is that the perimeter weighting forces the club through the ball better than my old clubs. I feel like the club is doing more of the work. Great clubs. Great price. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. On actually back on the sight looking for fairway woods.
Randy rated this product on 07/07/08 I bought my hybrid set in December. First day on the course I saw an amazing difference between my old clubs and the new set. I am hitting them 10-15 yds farther per each respective club and straighter. The only regret I have is not buying them years ago!!
Jeremy rated this product on 07/03/08 This is the first set of new clubs I've ever had. Did I ever hit the jackpot! Been playing with an old set, bought at a pawn shop, off and on for 12 years. Been looking around for quite some time for clubs. Bought a PM M-1 putter a couple years back, and thought give it a try. The putter is great. Definitely wasn't in the market for high dollar named clubs. I made the right choice. The hybrids are long and straight, the irons are super forgiving. Adjusting to the custom fit, minus 1/2, but absolutely made the right choice. Even on mis-hits, the ball seeks the fairway and green. I've never hit this many fairways and greens. The feel and look are terrific. What a confidence boost. I even bought them online, never talked to a rep. Must have clubs!
Justin reviewed this product on 06/21/08 I ordered the Excel Strongs the day after fathers day. I then went on vacation and just got back today. I was really excited to get back and see the clubs I ordered. I get home open the box and to my dismay I didnt get my 9 iron. Instead I got two 8 irons. Now it being Saturday I cant call untill Monday. I have no doubt (I am hoping) that pinemeadow will be able to fix the situation. I will keep you all updated on how the pan out cause I am going to the course tomorrow.
