Dookie rated this product on 08/15/11 After years of renting clubs and playing 2-4 times/year, I decided to buy my own. Brand name prices are beyond belief, so I was happy to find a less expensive manufacturer. I'm tall too, so custom length was also desireable. With little money to spend, and no big commitment to golf, I decided on a zen-minimalist approach, and to use only the latest technology. I bought a 13 degree Excel strong driver, Excel stron hybrids 3, 5, 7, and 9, plus a traditional wedge and putter. This is my whole set, and in the lightweight bag I got, I can hold the entire set at full arms length for many minute without tiring. AND, as others have remarked, the clubs hit great, just great.
Todd rated this product on 07/21/11 My clubs arrived and went straight to driving range, OMG!!!, never hit a set of clubs so sweet and straight. had a slice with my other clubs, now all the balls are flying straight or have a little draw. I got 3-PW Hybrid Excel. Distance worked out to be about the same. Will never go back to a reg. set of irons. These clubs are the best set i have ever hit in my life! Thanks Pinemeadows, ordering a putter next.
Todd reviewed this product on 07/07/11 just ordered the 3-PW hybrid clubs(excel) today, I just got done reading the reviews and my clubs can not get here fast enough. cant wait to hit them. will let you know what i think when they arrive.
Troy rated this product on 06/17/11 I am on my second season hitting the hybrid irons and I am pleased to say they are great! My game has greatly improoved 15 strokes off 18 holes. Now I am beating my friends instead of them laughing at me. Even chipped in for my first eagle with my 9 from 125 out! thank you Pinemeadow!!
Tony rated this product on 04/14/11 I have been hitting the Hybrid Irons for over 1 season. Always hit the ball square unlike a flat bladed club. Distance is about the same but much easier to lift the ball to get some good height which most golfers desire. I hit just ordered the #2 to replace my 7 wood. A 2 iron is not desired normally but the Hybrids allow for great ball contact and accuracy almost every swing. I am anxious to try it out. I also hit the Pine Meadow Excel Driver which has improved my distance and accuracy. I just ordered the Pine Meadow Excel 3 Wood. I use to hit Callaways and these are very similar. I hope they come out with a Pine Meadow Excel 5 wood. I like using clubs that work.
