Lou rated this product on 02/17/10 I have had the 6 and 7 hybrids in my bag now for 3 months. The 6 is great (I get somewhere around 175 as an average and it has gotten me out of a few pickles) but the 7 is a beast! I have been averaging somewhere around 160 with the 7 and really got a hold of one last week (I used it on a 165 yard par 3 with the intent of hitting the front of the green; the ball came to rest 1 foot off the back of the green - still got the par). Also, over the holidays I was hitting an approach shot from 160 yards and it also ended up on the back of the green. They are another contribution to the setup used to beat the pants off the arrogant hackers with their $2000 Taylor Made sets.

Spenser rated this product on 02/08/10 Just received this club today and took it to the driving range. Hadn't played golf in a about a year and half, but am starting to get into it. Got the 7 Hybrid w/ a UST Proforce V2 stiff flex. I was very surprised at the results. The ball went straight or going straight with a minor fade every time. The ball went about 150-175 every time! Thanks Pinemeadow, excellent golf club!

Patrick rated this product on 02/02/10 I was having a terrible shank problem with all my irons and decided hybrids might solve it, since I had resorted to using my 3-brid successfully, from as close as 120-130 yards. After researching the possible candidates, I settled on these and when I started with them - no more shank. I must say it took a while to get used to a hybrid pitching wedge, but it works as well as my iron did, with maybe a bit more yardage. The others seem equivalent to the corresponding iron, yardage wise, so I'm quite (shanklessly) happy with these clubs. One of my playing partnes also bought a set and loves them.

David rated this product on 01/03/10 Let me start by saying you will not confuse the excel with a Callaway club - completely different look at setup and they do not have a satisfying "tink" - it is more of a "thwak". i decided to give these clubs a try when I shattered the shaft on my Callaway Heavenwood 3. i was looking at USD100+ to replace the shaft, or USD150plus to buy a new club, then get it reshafted and regripped (I need +1 and midsize). I ended up buying 4 Excel hybrids (2, 3, 4, 5) with UST proforce V2 shafts (incredible) and midsize grips for USD340... a very good value... with the excels in the bag, I shot the best round of my life! That "thwak" is now sweet music to my ears!
