David Nystrom reviewed this product on 10/20/16 Just received by 7,8 and 9 hybrids yesterday. I am almost 73 and have been struggling lately with my long irons. I already have a 4,5 and 6 hybrid that I hit well, but wanted to add the others as I have lost quite a bit of weight (at my doctor's "urging") so had some muscle problems. I have been shooting in the high 80's of late and not comfortable with the irons. Took the new clubs to my home course today, hit a few practice shots and liked how they felt. I played 18 and shot a 38/43 I was kind of worn out on the back 9 as it was a hot day here in Alabama. Very pleased with the performance of these clubs. My first shot with the new clubs was on a par 3 and I put the 9 within 6 feet of the hole. I have a Pinemeadow PGX putter that I have had for years (got the birdie). I find that Pinemeadow Golf has quality products at exceptional prices. The are my go to club provider from now on. By the way the putter has never let me down. You could not give me the most expensive putter around in exchange for the PGX. Way to go Pinemeadow.
Lewis Zanto reviewed this product on 09/28/16 I purchased these clubs about a year ago and have been using them ever since. I play the entire set from the 3H to the PW; I still use standard irons for AW, SW and LW. I only rarely carry a 3W as I find the 3H is nearly as long and easier to hit in any lie. I have a fairly flat, one plane swing and always had trouble hitting standard irons high enough to go over any obstacles and to get the ball to stop quicker. These hybrids hit the ball solid, straight and much higher. They are also about a 1/2 to 1 club longer than by last sets of standard irons which were Taylor Made Speed Blades and Taylor Made Aero Burners. I've tried another set of hybrid irons which had a more rounded bottom edge, but I find these easier to hit from a variety of lies. This design reminds me somewhat of the old Adams tight lies. The swing weight of these clubs is somewhat heavier than anything I have played but I've found that the weight seems to work with this club design. I am a 63 year old male, play 3-4 times a week in the Montana summer, am about a 10 handicap (like most my short game isn't perfect) and I fly this 7H about 155 yards @ 3200' elevation.
Ric Rumley reviewed this product on 09/12/16 Just purchased the Pinemeadow Excel EGI Hybrid 7 & 8 and very pleased. Clubs are a bit heavier than I expected but they seem to be well built. Am hitting them straight and longer than my Pings. Tons of height and good ball spin, hard to spin them back, but they are stopping within 3 ft of wherever they land. They feel great, so much so I just ordered the 9 & PW to give a try. Great product and service. Thanks, Ric Rumley
Curt Born reviewed this product on 08/26/16 Just purchased the Excel EGI 6 Hybrid. I've lost clubhead speed due to physical issues and needed something easier to hit than a long iron. The 6 Hybrid was very easy to hit. I got the height and carry distance I was looking for. The clubhead has nice weight so you don't have to overswing. Very high quality look also. Price is great. I will definitely be adding more clubs to the bag from Pine Meadow.
Paul Mailly reviewed this product on 08/15/16 I ordered the whole set and i'm happy with them, be it that they do lack a nice finishing touch. When i touch the edges, i can feel some of them. But they do play nicely. Results are good, just as it should be.
