We get a number of requests from our customers wanting to replace the harder to hit lower irons with easy to hit hybrids. Building upon the ultra-playable hybrids we substituted the 3 and 4 irons (also an option to replace the 5) with Command Hybrids, so that you may benefit from the forgiving design of hybrid clubs, as well as the feel and control of our popular, Command Irons.

The Command clubs feature new and improve weight port technology. This dramatically increases the moment of inertia, reducing twisting and increasing accuracy, even on miss-hits. The weights also lower the center of gravity for optimal trajectory and feel. The set features the best of both worlds.

Command Hybrids

The hybrids feature two rear six gram weights that are designed to lower the center of gravity and increase MOI (moment-of-inertia). By increasing MOI it will prevent the club head from twisting at impact, resulting in straighter shots.

Command Irons

The Command irons share the forgiving club feature of the cutting edge weight-port technology, featuring a dual port weighting system and wider sole. The wider-then-usual sole design combined with an under-cut cavity and rear weighting produce superior playability for all types of players. The wide sole prevents the club from digging into the turf ensuring more solid contact even on fat or thin shots. The lower center of gravity produces a higher launch angle.

I will say that after I took them to the range I was skeptical of how I would do on the course. I played at a course and felt comfortable with the clubs more so than the previous clubs I used. I shortened the shaft to fit my height so my swing will need some tuning but by far I am amazed! The hybrids do take some time to get used to if you are used to playing with 3 woods and 5 woods. Other than that and my swing these are a great value especially if you enjoy the game as a beginner and want to enjoy it even more.

Pete rated this product * * * * * on 06/30/10 Fairly new golfer, shoot around a 100 per round. up until I bought the Hybrid set was using 25yr old irons and desperately needed an upgrade. The clubs all feel fantastic on impact. Although it will take awhile to get used to the new lofts it is nice to finally know the actual lofts (something I never knew for the previous hand-me-down set). Customer service is fantastic and received the clubs on time in perfect condition. The only problem with the irons are minor flaws in the cavities of the forged iron heads, nothing that affects performance, purely aesthetic, and not enough to lower my rating. For the price, you can't beat the various iron sets. I look forward to breaking 90 in the near future!

I wish I knew more about irons before I bought these though...These irons are strongly lofted. Each club is at least a club more than the traditional loft, and I wish i knew more about lofts before buying these. I hit the 9 iron over 150 yards but it is very deceiving because the 9 is lofted more like a 7, or even an 8

Mike rated this product * * * * * on 04/12/10 Best clubs for the price. I am a new golfer that is used to using 30+ year old irons with a Wall-mart driver. I ordered this set along with the Bloc driver. This Iron set is the most forgiving irons i have ever used. The Driver is a little unconventional but it is the only driver i have actually been able to hit!! I have used my friends Taylor Made and other brand name clubs with no success. I would recommend these products to anyone along with the superior customer service!!

Andrew rated this product * * * * * on 01/04/10 I got these clubs a little over a week ago, and although i've only been to the range twice, i can already tell a huge difference in how these clubs hit compared to my old clubs. I can hit striaght and long all day now. I can't wait till it warms up so i can play with them. The quality and build of the clubs are excellent. I had no problems getting the order processed and shipped within a week. I'll definitely be back in the spring to order the Command Q4 Driver to compliment the irons. I would recommend this set to anyone.
