Jefferson Crow reviewed this product on 04/11/05 My previous 3-wood was an old re-shafted 1988 TaylorMade Tour Cleek, which had a head about the size of a plum, and was extremely difficult to hit. Accuracy was always a matter of sheer luck. This new Excel 3 wood has the largest CC capacity of all the Pinemeadow 3-Woods, and to say it is forgiving is an understatement. It is wonderfully easy to hit and now I am hitting GIR with great regularity. It has boosted my confidence 100%. Thank you for great product and great service! JW Crow
Joe reviewed this product on 04/11/05 Excel driver 10.5 degree has worked well for me. I never really had the chance to purchase name brands so this was a great deal for me. At first the size of the club head took a week or so to get use to but this past weekend I really got comfortable with it and was driving consistently 260 with a longest being 270 (little downwind). Upgraded with oversized grip and stiff shaft. This was my present for recovering from back surgery and getting back on the course in 6 months. I just purchased the 3 wood and added putter from Pinemeadow, looking forward to break 80 by end of the summer.
Todd reviewed this product on 03/18/05 Awesome! Simply an amazing club. I own a big bertha III steelhead and I can only hit it about 240. I can hit this 260 with an easy swing and over the back fence of the range (about 275) if I really swing with everything. Not only does this thing hit the ball a mile but it is extremely forgiving.
Mike reviewed this product on 12/04/04 I just got this club and I am very happy with it. I can hit it far and straight, and my slice rarely shows it's facenow. I previously tried the Acer XP Graphite ti driver and my slice was horrid with it. I went with the 12* loft and I think that was a good choice, the ball gets in the air easily. I can focus more on my swing and not worry so much about the speed of my swing atm and still get the distance I need. I would recommend this club to anyone looking for a easy to hit forgiving ti driver.
