Andy McRae reviewed this product on 05/20/15 Totally new to golf and wanted to try out a putter without breaking my meager "bank" until I knew what I was getting in to. I have been practicing with the Lyon putter since I got it and I have to say that if this is what I have to look forward to in the future I'm all-in! this putter is very comfortable, swings easily, and I feel like I have a lot of control of the stroke. Kudos to Pinemeadow for 1. Providing me with an excellent tool to get started with. 2. A great customer service team who kept me informed as my order was processed and shipped, and followed up after I received the putter - which arrived in great shape. I will be sending Pinemeadow my business this summer ordering a complete club set as I get a bit more experience. Five Stars Pinemeadow!! Andy
John from Queens rated this product on 09/05/13 Bought this for a left friend of mine. I was tooling around with it too and I made some putts left handed. It's superb. Great weight and feel for such an inexpensive putter. Easy to align too. You should bring this one back PM. Make it for righties.
Greg rated this product on 08/12/11 I spent $50 on a Nike IC-15A putter. It's one of those Mallet-head putters. After three-putting as many holes as I did before going to that putter I decided to go back to a more conventional putter and (being a lefty) I ordered the Lyon Putter. Nice putter. Nothing spectacular, but when it's all said and done putting is about "feel" and this putter feels good. My buddies don't have to know that I spent $12 (upgraded the Grip) on my putter. If you're ready to admit that you're an awful putter because you simply can't read a green, then why spend a hundred dollars or more on a putter that will do nothing more than impress your friends with how much money you spent. Save yourself the money and order one of these reasonable putters. I have the Lyon and my Dad has the Black Zinc Anser-Style putter. They look good and hit the ball where we aim it. Not their fault that we can't hit the broad side of a barn.
Josh reviewed this product on 05/20/09 Why discontinue this putter. I can't stand the heavier mallet putters I have not control with them and launch the ball. I've been thinking about ordering this one for some time. Guess I'll have to look elsewhere.
Preston Hale responds with Josh, we still have plenty in stock. If you like one you can still order one from us. Let us know if you need anything else.
